You live, you travel and you make friends (not necessarily in this particular order, but this is what you should do with your life). Happiness means different things to different people, for me this is it. And here I am, sharing a part of my somewhat-happy-life in few snaps. Hope you like it. 🙂
A couple of months back I was in Darjeeling, a beautiful little hill station, the queen of the hills, away from the maddening city life.
We reached Darjeeling on a cold Christmas morning and it looked something like this.
Street art; came across this when we were strolling around and soaking in the beauty of this charming little hill station.
At the end of the first day, returning to our hotel; the Bhutia Busty Monastery looked even more peaceful at dusk.
Blue mountains! – How can you not fall in love with this place?
A walk through the Tea garden. A walk to remember.
The majestic Mt. Kanchenjunga. The quintessential Kanchenjunga picture I wanted to click for ages. Finally happened.
Walking aimlessly on the streets of Darjeeling. Our plan was not to plan anything.
…and that’s us. Could not resist taking a selfie with the Beer-bottle-Christmas tree! 😀
